Choose a weekly cadence
All packages are built around individualized 60-minute sessions in literacy, math, science, or academic success. More frequent sessions unlock a lower hourly rate and faster, more consistent progress.
Starter Foundations
- 1 session per week

- Great for maintaining progress or light gap-closing
Growth Foundations
- 2 sessions per week
- Consistent cadence for cumulative growth
- Ideal for closing gaps or building ahead
Momentum Foundations
- 3 sessions per week

- Best for intensive support or effective intervention
Session length and frequency can be adjusted for younger students or different schedules. Ask about a custom plan during your consult.
Sliding Scale Pricing
I believe strong academic support shouldn't be limited to families who can pay full price. Sliding-scale rates are based on household size and income, with no tax documents required, just a short, private conversation. Availability depends on how many reduced-rate spots are filled at the time you ask.
If cost is a barrier, please say so during your consultation. There's no separate application, and there's no judgment. I'll work with you to find a rate that fits.
Pro Bono & Scholarship Trials
A small number of pro-bono or scholarship sessions are available on a short-term trial basis for students with significant financial need. These spots are limited and offered on a rolling basis as availability allows.
Ask about eligibility when you book your free consultation; there's no cost or commitment to ask.
Supporter Tier
Sliding-scale spots have to be funded by something. Families who are able to pay above the standard rate, and want to, can choose to, and that difference is what keeps reduced rates available to other families, instead of capping them at whatever I can absorb on my own.
To be clear about what this is: it isn't a charitable donation and isn't tax-deductible. It's tutoring, paid for at an amount the family chose. You set the rate, and you can move back to standard pricing whenever you like, without explanation.

Travel Fee
In-home sessions add a travel fee based on driving distance from Kirkland. It's the same on every tier: standard, sliding-scale, and supporter families all pay the same amounts.
Online sessions have no travel fee, and neither do sessions held somewhere already convenient for me. If you're outside the ranges below, bring it up at the consultation and we'll talk it through.
By distance, per session
- 0–5 miles, or another convenient location: no fee
- 5–10 miles: $5
- 10–15 miles: $10
- Beyond 15 miles: ask at your consultation

No long-term contracts are required. Many families choose weekly sessions for cumulative progress, but scheduling is flexible to fit your needs.
Yes. The three monthly packages above (1x, 2x, or 3x per week) come with a discounted hourly rate. Sibling packages can also be arranged; bring it up during your free consultation and we'll design a plan around your family's needs.
