Conformance status

This site aims to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Conformance has been assessed by self-evaluation rather than by an independent audit, so I describe the site as partially conformant: most of the standard is met, and I am not claiming full conformance without third-party testing.

What has been built in

A “Skip to main content” link as the first item on every page, so keyboard users can bypass the navigation.
Text and background colors checked against WCAG contrast ratios. Body text, muted text, and every text-on-color combination used on the site meet or exceed 4.5:1.
Visible focus outlines on every link, button, form field, and expandable panel.
Expandable FAQ and approach panels built as real buttons with aria-expanded and aria-controls, so their state is announced.
Headings in a logical order, one h1 per page, and a single main landmark.
Decorative icons hidden from screen readers so they are not announced as unlabeled graphics; meaningful images carry descriptive alternative text.
Animations disabled automatically when your device requests reduced motion.
Form fields with associated labels, and required fields marked in text rather than by color alone.
Layouts that reflow on small screens and remain usable when text is enlarged.

Known limitations

I would rather name these than imply the site is flawless:

Third-party booking. Consultation scheduling is handled by Setmore, and the consultation form is processed through Google. I do not control the accessibility of those services. If either creates a barrier for you, contact me and I will book your consultation by phone or email instead.
No independent audit. Testing to date has been self-conducted. It has not included testing with every screen reader and browser combination, or with users of assistive technology.
Linked documents. Policy and terms documents hosted outside this site may not meet the same standard.

Accommodations in sessions

Accessibility is not only a website matter. If your student needs materials in a particular format, a specific font, printed rather than digital work, extended processing time, or any other adjustment, tell me during the free consultation or at any point afterward. Adapting instruction to how a student actually works is the service, not an exception to it.
